Book #2:  The Writings of Florence Scovill Shinn
 Author:  Florence Scovell Shinn

 Book #3:  Loving Each Other
 Author:  Leo Buscaglia

Comments:  These books are freedom givers. however, just reading them is NOT the answer. No book, not even the Holiest of Books is worth the match to burn it if all you do is read it. The instructions must be put into our lives and the exercises done. Walking the lessons is always more adventurous than reading the lessons. We have to do the footwork and learn to live the lessons ourselves. You do not get the effect of journaling by reading about it. You get the effect by picking up the pen and journaling. Thank you.

 Book #3:  My Father's Face
 Author:  James Robison

Comments:  Anyone who is not taking time to read the true 'Wisdom of the Ages' found in Scripture is cheating themselves. Yes, James Allen was ahead of his time and is still there ahead of ours. I have never read a book with as much Spirit-anointing as My Father's Face, and I haven't even finished it yet! This book is really touching me in places I hadn't thought I needed ministering. Thanks for allowing me to comment - it is much appreciated...

Comments:  These are all incredible books, though I'm not sure they completely fall into the category of "empowering". However, they are well worth the read, and I recommend them highly. A few others I would add to this list are J.D. Salinger's A Catcher in the Rye, Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth, Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, and C.S. Lewis' Till We Have Faces: A Myth Retold. Enjoy!

Book #3:  You Can Heal Your Life

Comments:  I have tried a few times to recommend these titles to
people I love, but they seem to resist. I think there is
a right time in your life to find this information and
maybe they just weren't ready. It was a very disturbed
time in my life that I found all of these, and they have
all helped to change my life in a very positive way and
have inspired me to be the best that I can be.
Thank you for your site - it's beautiful!!!! I wish
everyone would come here and read. It's so good for the

Book #3:  The Rosicrucian Christianity Lectures
 Author:  Max Heindel-The Rosicrucian Fellowship

Comments:  'Always look up, never down. The sun's radiance comes from above, not from below. The sun is but an emblem of an eternal radiance. The spiritual sun can fill you with illumination and vitality. It can stimulate the spirit within yourself. There is nothing in your world of matter that need cause you to be downcast, as long as you remember you are eternal by nature and all that happens is part of a pilgrimage. You cannot learn spirituality in a book. You cannot be taught spirituality by a teacher. You have to earn it by your own life, by your deeds. Spirituality is the burgeoning of divinity within the individual.'(From: Guidance from Silver Birch)

Book #2:  The Holy Man' s Journer
 Author:  Susan Trott

 Book #3:  A Woman's Worth
 Author:  Marianne Williamson

Comments:  All three books have had a serious impact on my life. A Woman's Worth so affected me
that I passed it along to whoever I could and in the end, we founded a self-help
group, and called it A Woman's Worth. It bagan three years ago and to this day,
it is still ongoing. The Holy Man, is just one of those books, that make you laugh
make you cry and most importantly, make you think. It's awesome, easy to read, and
the most lovable monk named Joe, becomes someone I wish I could meet.
Blessings and thank you for this wonderful site
